I, the instructor, will follow Government guidelines and best practice, regarding PPE and sanitisation.
Please do not partake in your driving lesson if you have had any coronavirus symptoms in the last 7 days, or if you have been in contact with anyone with symptoms in the last 14 days. (Please visit www.gov.uk/coronavirus for clarification of "symptoms"). I will liaise with you via text message prior to your scheduled lesson to confirm this.
I will provide antibacterial hand gel to be used before, during and after your lesson. You are also required to wear a face mask in line with Government guidelines. These will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
The car is sanitised thoroughly before and after each lesson.

.Driving under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs is strictly forbidden. Please also consider that some prescription and 'over the counter' medicines can cause drowsiness.
.You should ensure that you do not arrange driving lessons when you are tired, stressed or otherwise distracted.
.If spectacles or contact lenses are required in order to meet the eyesight requirement for driving, these must be worn at all times whilst you are driving.
Any form of verbal or physical abuse, whether directed at myself, the driving examiner or any other road users, will not be tolerated. Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate termination of your driving lesson.

.Please be punctual with your appointment time. I will wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the appointment time. If I am unable to contact you within this time I will deem the lesson to have been cancelled with insufficient notice.
.I will make every effort to be punctual, however traffic conditions may sometimes make this difficult, so you should allow a 10 minute waiting period.
.Your lesson will commence either at the appointed time, or the time that the driving instructor arrives, if that is later.
.Upon reaching an agreement regarding you being "test ready", you must then ensure that myself and the vehicle are available before booking the driving test.
.I should be notified of the time, date and location of your driving test as soon as possible and the appointment booking confirmation must be shown for verification on your next lesson.
.I take no responsibility for incorrect bookings unless the driving test booking confirmation is produced.
.In the interest of road safety, I reserve the right to withdraw the use of the car for the driving test, if you have not reached test standard.
.Where the use of the driving school car is withheld for your driving test, I will, where possible give you sufficient notice to enable you to cancel the test without loss of the test fee.
Cancelled DVSA test-
.When a driving test is cancelled due to mechanical failure of the driving school car, illness or any other reason that is the responsibility of myself, then you will be entitled to the cost of your next driving test fee to be paid for by me.
.The next driving test fee will not be paid by myself if you were given sufficient notice to cancel your test appointment without loss of fee.
.I will not be responsible for any additional training fees incurred whilst waiting for the next test appointment.
.I have no control over driving tests cancelled by DVSA.
.When the DVSA cancel a test because an examiner is not available it is possible to claim back any losses incurred by you, including a proportion of training fees, this is the responsibility of you, not the driving instructors.
For the purpose of assessing, maintaining and improving standards, it may occasionally be necessary for another driving instructor or examiner to observe a instructor giving tuition. You may expect an observer to be present on any of your lessons. Notice of this would usually be given in advance of the lesson however this might not always be possible.
Driving examiners are periodically supervised conducting driving tests, therefore you might be accompanied on your driving test by a supervising examiner. This is a legal requirement.
You are responsible for the care of any property you have with you when attending a lesson, and should ensure you do not leave anything behind.
I take no responsibility for any loss or damage to any property belonging to, or in the possession of the client.
.In accordance with road traffic law, you are legally responsible for any traffic offences that occur whilst you are in charge of the vehicle.
.I will endeavour to train you to the highest possible standard, however I can not be held responsible for the standard of driving or any errors that are committed, either before or after you pass a DVSA test.
If you are not happy with any aspect of tuition, or the standard of service offered, raise these concerns with myself, the instructor. If you feel the complaint has not been resolved you can contact the DVSA.
Upon booking your first lesson, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions do not effect your statutory rights.
